Claddagh Motel & Suites

If you’re in the rockport area very good place to stay. Rooms are very clean. The rooms look nice. The guy who checked us in was very pleasant. We stayed in a 2 queen room but they were seperate. Each room has a tv and ac unit. I would definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

While at high end of accommodation's prices, this hotel is OK, and the owners are very welcome. Parking near the room is nice. Room cleaning & bedding were great. I couldn't make the TV audio work (not being on mute, and multiple channels, and putting volume on max). Luckily I could use their wi-fi on my laptop instead. Morning coffee was rewarding (after struggling for sometime to open its wrapping). Some services (notably complimentary breakfast are n/a off season on April), so the review doesn't reflect those.

Stayed here during a road trip through New England last September. The bed was comfy, breakfast was great and check in/out was a breeze! Will definitely be back some day.

I really enjoyed staying at this quaint little motel :). It’s older, but the rooms are very clean and cutely decorated. My bed was super comfortable. The grounds are really nice…lots of trees and grassy areas with tables and chairs for relaxing outside. Staff was great…responsive, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was much better than what is typically offered at budget-conscious hotels. The location is excellent for visiting Camden and Rockport, and the rates are reasonable and a good value, especially given the area. I would most definitely stay there again.

I stayed here with my friend and my 13 year old son. The space was much larger than expected. I didn't realize it at the time of booking, but the space we reserved was an entire two bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen and bathroom as well as a TV room overlooking the pool. Plenty of sleeping options - the second bedroom has two double beds and there is a futon in the TV room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook inside or outside at the grilling area. They have a grill and several tables with umbrellas. Thr apartment had a large dining room table in the tv room as well. The staff were super friendly upon check in, check out, and at breakfast for the weekend we stayed. They gave us a map with directions to the path that goes down into Glen Cove. We went at sunset when the tide was coming back in. It was beautiful. We spent one afternoon at the pool, which was super clean and had plenty of shaded and unshaded areas to hang out. Really cool pool floats too! For adults and kids. The breakfast was a highlight. They had many self service options including a great selection of tea and coffee, juices, fruit, breads, bagels, muffins and other pastries, cold cereal, oatmeal, granola, cream of wheat, Waffles, pancake and sausage on a stick, hard boiled eggs, omelettes, yogurt... My friend lives nearby, and I will definitely be staying here more often now that I have discovered Claddagh! I will also bring more family with me next time as there is plenty of room to sleep at least 6 people. I'm interested to see what the smaller motel rooms are like.

Lovely place, everything is clean and well maintained! But the service is the best! We had a flat tire while coming here, and I called the office telling that I would be late, they were very kind and comprehensive, and I was able to check in a little bit later. A small thing, but a great favor for a tired traveler. Thank you.

Wow! Hidden jem. Just a few miles from everything. We stayed while visiting the coast. Lovely rooms great staff and reasonable pricing. Older motel but very clean and updated.

My girlfriend and I stayed here while we worked at a local nursing home. It was absolutely fantastic! It was so comfortable and spacious. Rich and Sherrie were amazing and treated us as family. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!
